The 500 hidden secrets of Lisbon

Not many good books are available on Portugal in Korean not to mention on Lisbon.
However, in English, there are plenty to choose from.

Whenever I go to the bookstore,
I browse over what is available and purchase one or two.

I don't like piling up books and not reading them.
So after finishing or almost finishing a book I bought previously,
I buy one or two more.

Finally, finishing SECRET LISBON,
I bought The 500 hidden secrets of Lisbon.
The book has info on 100 categories
and each has 5 best something.

For example, the best parks in Lisbon,
the view points in Lisbon, and so on.

The 5 best films set in Lisbon are mentioned in the book.
The list goes...
(1) Night train to Lisbon
Korean Poster
Having seen this movie more than 10 times,
I strongly recommend this to anyone who loves travel.
There are people coming to Lisbon just to follow the movie scences.

(2) Lisbon Story

Directed by Wim Wenders in 1994,
it has the main actor as a movie director,
coming to Lisbon.

(3) The house of spirits

The movie's set is in Santiago, Chile
but is was shot here in Lisbon.
I haven't seen it yet
so I reserve my judgment.

(4) On her Majesty's secret service

In this 007 movie made in 1969,
James Bond meets his future wife in one of the Cascais beaches at first
and in the end he got married to her in Portugal.
But you can't tell whether the movie was shot in Portugal or not.
There is no landmark whatsoever.

(5) Mysteries of Lisbon

Made in 2010, it's kind of recent.
But the running time is about 4 hours and 30 minutes.
So I haven't seen it yet.
