Heralding 2019 with spectacular fireworks.
Watching fireworks is fun but going back to your home-away-home may not be that fun. Look at the crowd. It's a mayhem. There are three most populated firework spots in Lisbon. 1. Comercio Square (Praça do Comércio) Getting to Comerico Square can be challenging. There are security check points to avoid any unfortunate incidents. If you get there too late, it will take a long time to access the square and in worst case, you might not get in at all. Right after the fireworks, a lot of people want to say hello to their loved ones who are not at the square with them. So your mobile phone might not work for about 10 minutes just like mine last night. Don't panic. It will work soon enough. Right after the fireworks, it's impossible to hail a taxi or use a Uber service.
