Boca do inferno, meaning hell's mouth

In Cascais, one of the most visited places is Boca do inferno . When you get to Cascais train station, you can walk all the way there. However, about 2 kilometers away, on sunny days, taking a bus or grabbing a taxi would be better. It is the best place to watch the sunset in Cascais. Right outside of the train station, there is a McDonald. Cross the road and you will see the bus stop. Take 427 to Boca do inferno . A powerful sorcerer married the most beautiful girl in the village against her will. This mad man couldn't win her heart and locked her at a tower near here. The guard who was supposed to keep an eye on her fell in love with the girl and they ran away. This angered the evil wizard and he punished them by magic. Here at Hell's mouth, the couple was swallowed by the rocks and the sea. There are two plaques at this place....
