Last night Notre-Dame was engulfed by fire. It took about 150 years to build the cathedral but it only took about an hour to burn this treasure. When I turned on TV last night, almost all Portugal TV stations were covering the story live. I watched the news until midnight worrying and praying. The fire is suspected to have started at the roof. Before the fire, the 16 statues were removed for the renovation. Through the live new, I saw the tower got burned down. It was such a tragic moment. One fireman got hurt seriously while trying to put out the fire. I hope he gets well soon. In Korea, the national treasure was burned down due to arson sometime ago. Koreans had to watch the NamDaeMun Gate get destroyed by fire. As I witnessed that tragedy before, I couldn't sleep.
