even though it offers free entrance for all every Sunday morning.
What a shame!

and there are three exhibitions.

One is a permanent exhibition showing Lisbon's history.
The other two are temporary ones.
One is the artworks of Maria Capelo.
The other is about São vicente.
The tile of the exhibition is Vincent, the myth in Lisbon.
Vincent is the patron saint of Lisbon
so you can see his statue at Portas de Sol viewpoints,
one of the famous viewpoints in Lisbon.
The story about crows covering his dead body to protect from any harm
is very well-known.
Even while the first King of Portugal carried the saint's body on a ship,
crows followed and protected the saint.
That's why the coat of arms in Lisbon has crows.
You can also see Saint Vincent Panel in Lisbon Ancient Art Museum.
The saint's relics were brought to Monastery of São Vicente de Fora.
The monastery is also the pantheon of Portual kings and queens.
