Taking a trip near Lisbon, Óbidos

This week, I have been busy
traveling here and there.
So not enough time to write.

I decided to catch upon my writing today.
Well, not having a car,
it's not easy for me to get to some places
which have no subway or train access.

Taking a bus ride is okay if you don't get sick.
However, in my case, I have a mild case of motion sickness.
Riding a bus is okay sometimes,
but other times especially when I am under the weather,
it is a no-no.

That's why I have been postponing my trip to Obidos.
Using Taxify service,
I and my hubby got to the bus stop at Campo Grande.
The stop is right across Jerónimo Martins SGPS
It is a tall deep green color building,
so hard to miss.
On weekdays, the bus runs at 07:00, 07:30, 08:00,
09:00, 10:00, 11:00  ...
It takes about an hour from Lisbon to Óbidos.
The fare is 7.95 one-way.

And the stores at Óbidos usually open around 9:30.
After 10 o'clock the town is packed with people
because tour buses arrive around 10.
If you want to take some great pictures,
I strongly suggest arriving there before 9:30.

The weather this year has been amazingly warm
so beautiful flowers are all over the places.

Right now, I am studying the history
and the best walking tour course of Óbidos.

Without prior knowledge of this beautiful Queen's village,
I just enjoyed strolling all over the place.
However, with a proper guide, the trip would have been much better.

That's why after researching everything,
I am going back to this place to explore every nook and cranny.
