Appreciating artworks by Maria Amelia Ramos and Bogdan Dide.

In Lisbon, wherever you go, you can come across a nice surprise
as the city is full of arts.
Today I saw the artworks of Maria Amelia Ramos and Bogdan Dide in the EXPO area.
On my way to the bank,
I saw some artworks displayed in Campus de justiça through the window.
So I just went in.

Maria Amelia Ramos was born and lives in Lisbon,
where she gets her inspiration.
Her ceramic works are about oceans and waves.
Neptune
Poseidon

I wondered why she called the first one, Neptune(Roman name) and the second, Poseidon(Greece name).
Poseidon and Neptune is the same God.
Is there any special reasons or connotations behind this?

Ocean's Girl

The other artist, Bogdan Dide is from Ukraine.
Through SumyArt gallery his sold his works to the States, China, Russia, Austria and so on.
Koi
Lord of the Jungle

These two paintings actually remind me of Korean arts,
especially the second one.
As tigers often appear in Korean folklores,
if someone said the painting was the work of a Korean artist,
I would believe it.

Ukrainian night
landscape of the Sula River in Ukraine

These paintings are actually my favorite.
Especially the first one.
I tried to buy this painting but it was already sold.
Around the windmill I felt like I am feeling the wind and smelling flowers.
